Gee Jae Arnold

Gee Jae Arnold is author of “Dropped!”. She is also a mother, a daughter, a sister and a friend. She was once a wife and hopes one day to be a grandmother. A self-proclaimed “journeywoman” she says that she enjoys travel, reading, writing and developing old and new relationships and the life experiences they create on her life journey. For the past four years her journey has taken her through a cancer, loss, grief, depression, heartbreak, emotional and financial bankruptcy, all while in pursuit of her formal education as a full-time college student. Gee Jae is completing her 4-years college education and will graduate in June 2006 with a degree in Business Management and with the distinction of being on the National Dean’s List.

Gee Jae says that her life journey has taken her from mountaintops to valleys. Though she grows deeper and stronger in faith in the valley experiences, she prefers the mountaintops. While it has been exciting to travel abroad and experience other cultures, what she treasures most are the relationships she has forged along the way. Gee Jae believes that mentoring and being mentored are a vital human exchange and that wholeness is progressive. She is committed to fulfilling her purpose and the call to share what she has gleaned from the life experiences that God has entrusted to her on her journey to wholeness. Currently, she continues to be mentored and to mentor while sharing herself and her life experiences with the people God has placed in her life, at this juncture, even as she is rebuilding her life after a series of events left her shipwreck. She has adopted as her credo, the words of an unknown author who wrote, “Success can be measured not only in achievements, but in lessons learned, lives touched and moments shared along the way.

On her Christian journey for more than 20 years, Gee Jae is a member of a Bethel Gospel Assembly in Harlem, New York where she is enrolled in the School of Lifelong Education in answer to her calling to be a faith writer and teacher. Hence, she is studying “How to Teach the Bible” and is also beginning work on her second.

Born in Guatemala, Central America, Gee Jae came to the United States as a child and has lived in New York City most of her adult life. She has one son, Robert.
